Worked with Kristie on my gmc AT4. I live almost 2 hours away and had to use this dealership during an emergency break down. Classic Chevy service dept did great work for me and my truck I found myself in a jam with my transmission that decided to go out on my truck 100 miles away from my house. I was working with jared from the service dept he kept me updated even though he might not have answered when I called he did call me back within a good time. Once they received the transmission within the next day my truck was back on the road total down time 8 days and that’s only due to my extended warranty shipping a transmission to classic Chevy . Hands down best service dept and shop in beaumont in my book thanks again to everyone at Classic Chevy (jared)
I feel like I was BS'd around about my original vehicle choice. I was interested in a 2024 Chevy Trailboss discounted to $56,450. I was told a contract couldn't initiated because there was a recall and then I was told there was a stop sale on it because the engine was possibly contaminated with sludge. But here we are test driving it. I dont think the vehicle was ever taken off the website ( I checked from time to time ) and I doubt it ever left the lot ( was told they would have to replace the engine ) and now it's currently discounted less than it was and is priced at $59,700, a $3,250 increase because it does not have the Classic bonus cash $1,000 and Classic Trade Assistance $2,250 discounts. Ended up being sold a 2025 RST that was more than the Trailboss. My assumption is that dealership decided it was discounted too much or something along those lines and made up a story to sell a newer vehicle at a higher price and then corrected the trailboss discounts to price it higher. Of course, I could be wrong, but that's my feeling about the whole thing. I like the truck, but I'm not happy with the experience. I feel like I was screwed out of my original choice. Also, stop "ceramic coating" and upcharging when doing the paperwork. It's such a scummy tactic to get hit with another $2,150 at signing. You're basically adding an unwanted paint warranty. Interestingly enough, the purchase price of the coating, according to paperwork, is $1,500, so I assume we are being charged $650 for the application ( totaling the $2,150 ). I highly doubt ALL vehicles they receive go through a proper ceramic coating job. If you know anything about detailing, ceramic coating is quite the process that involves surface prep ( clay bar and such ), paint correction, applying it, drying / curing, buffing .. it is quite the task. I just doubt that it's properly ceramic coated. Car buying is never a fun experience after picking what you like, this was no exception.
Shelby was such a huge help. He answered all our questions and was never pushy. He let us lead our buy and gave us exactly what we asked for. His enthusiasm was very inviting.

Service visit was a disappointment . New tire was somewhat higher than quoted and mounted on rear not in front where requested. Someone forgot the promised car wash. What was really annoying was the new 3.5% credit card fee in addition to the shop supplies and data storage fee. I suspect this dealership incurs a much smaller credit card fee than that but that expense for decades has been treated as a cost of business . It's only lately that everyone is adding it on to bills. Bidenomics or just more profit? Maybe next there will be a mandatory tip added to pay the salaries of the service writer and cashier?
